Hello there!

You may call me Kirai, Maj, or Maj Kirai (or Bumblebee if you so choose). I am 16 years of age and I have been creating art since I was about nine. At that time, I mainly drew Pokemon and characters from Neopets.com, but as I have aged, my art has grown too.

Now, I mainly draw and paint these subjects: fantasy, characters, cartoons, animals, and nature. I also like to pretend I'm a photographer, so expect to see a smattering of digital photos here and there also.

I mainly work in graphite and dry media, but once in a while I dabble around with paints. I do a lot of digital painting, also. I draw with mechanical pencils, graphite powder, black pens, india ink, oil paints, acrylics, watercolor, Open Canvas 4, Open Canvas 1, Microsoft Paint, and my Wacom Graphire tablet.

Some artists I admire and are inspired by are: Rob Carlos, Todd Lockwood, Jhonen Vasquez, and various other artists scattered around on the internet. Someday, I hope to be as good as they are!
